PRESIDENT & FOUNDER

Rachel Levy

Rachel is the President and Founder of L&L Bookkeeping Services and has been providing bookkeeping services to clients for the past five years. She has experience working with clients in various sectors, including, but not limited to restaurants, retail, event planning, publishing and technology, among others. Rachel is QuickBooks Certified and has extensive experience in and has focused on providing bookkeeping services.

Rachel’s recent experience includes managing the financial reporting needs of her clients, including day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts receivable and accounts payable management, month end bank reconciliations and periodic clean-up of client financial statements. Rachel has also assisted clients with financial planning and analysis, such as forecasting and monthly budgeting.

Prior to founding L&L Bookkeeping Services, Rachel held various positions focused on financial analysis, forecasting and sales. She was an Account Executive with BCBG Max Azria, a global women’s luxury apparel manufacturer, where she was responsible for sales to department store clients, preparing periodic budgets, forecasting sales and meeting future production/revenue targets. Rachel also held positions in retail with BCBG, which also included preparing weekly P&L budgets and analyzing related budget to actual reports for both revenue and expense.

SENIOR ADVISOR

Don Levy, CPA

Don Levy is a Senior Advisor to L&L Bookkeeping Services, advising on complex accounting matters. Don has approximately 20 years of professional experience, encompassing accounting, auditing, complex accounting advisory, M&A transaction advisory services, restructuring and turnaround consulting and real estate acquisitions analysis.

Don is a CPA and specialties include analysis of company financial statements and operations, as well as providing strategic advisory services to clients on acquisitions and divestitures. Don has extensive experience in working closely with company management teams in devising and structuring strategic plans.

Don’s experience includes providing clients with accounting advisory services, M&A advisory where he has worked with strategic and financial buyers providing detailed financial and operational analyses. He has worked with clients in various industries, including technology, business and consumer services, manufacturing, healthcare, and consumer products, among others.

Don also spent approximately seven years focused on both restructuring and operations advisory services. Don has experience advising clients in areas of bankruptcy and insolvency, and restructuring and turnaround matters. He has also held positions in real estate acquisitions analysis and treasury. Don began his career in public accounting servicing large REITs and private real estate funds.
